Elizabeth Meryment

Local Publishing Co was founded by Elizabeth Meryment in 2016 after a 20-year career in mainstream Australian media including at The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.

Local Publishing Co began as a content agency but launched into independent media production in 2018 with the Eastern Suburbs magazine, Local East. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Local East was remodelled as a series of hyper-local magazines for the Eastern Suburbs, from Bondi to Paddington, that are growing in strength and popularity with each edition.

The company also produces a wide range of custom publications and a large amount of content for small, medium and large businesses.
